What is the best thing about the course?

The guitar leads course is easy to install and easy to use. Each volume has a installation wizard which walks you through the installation process. What’s more, it actually checks your PC to make certain it is configured properly to run the program. Once the program is installed it places icons on your computer. To use the lessons you simply click an icon. This opens the table of contents. You then select a lesson and start playing. One other important note: You do NOT have to be online to use the course. Once installed on your computer, you can access it anytime without evey needing to go back online.

I will try and guide all fellow guitarists with a very small beginners guide. This lesson is a must read if you are a begginer and have never played before, first of all its neccessary to know about different parts of guitar and what actually you are dealing with. Once you know about frets, you must know what these frets represents. Each fret represent a seperate note and to learn about guitar you have to know how the musical notes and theory work. To learn this go to Basics of Musical notes and study about them.

Now once you know about your guitar and the notes associated with them, its time to have some fun!!!!. Now for this to happen you have to make sure of 2 things..
1)Learn Chords
2)Make sure your guitar is in tune so that you get the right sound.

Let me discuss the 2nd point first, Go to Guitar tunning and learn how you can tune your guitar. Now many people will suggest you to buy and automatic tuner and just tune your guitar using it, but remember tunning your guitar manually helps to devolup your ear which is a musicians true mark.

Once you have your guitar in tune, its time to learn some very basic chords and have some fun!!!
Go to the lesson on Basic Chords & How Chords work. Once you have learned there position, feel free to practise them for a week or so , so that you can get comfortable in moving your hand.

In the next lesson we will talk about Major scales and Minor scales and you will see how you can make all your chords from these Major and Minor Scales.
